libdb5.1-dbg software package provides Berkeley v5.1 Database Libraries [debug], you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdb5.1-dbg
libdb5.1-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdb5.1-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdb5.1-dbg *
You will get with libdb5.1-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
